Heart of My Crossing

My heart beat stop’s

Suddenly

I feel my breath slow down to a soft halt

When aim confronted by your beauty and power

Oh so unexpectedly

Out walking on a winter evening not

knowing my eyes would fall on you

a train intersects the low setting sun

I was crossing a bridge over the swollen river

Now ' non perfection is exposed in me

Ever so clearly

And my heart stops again

like a balance crossing

my heart stops again

it was in that moment

I try to take a breath

a deeper breath

Oh reeling in that moment

let your beauty in

let the beauty of you fill me

Sparks come crashing down from above heaven

snow is falling onto cold wet braches of the tree’s

as the evening slips into thick night

the dark of winter lit by the flashes of Heavenly arcing beauty

in that moment I saw Father Yahweh
