2 Samuel 23:11-12 says, “One time the Philistines gathered at Lehi and attacked the Israelites in a field full of lentils. The Israelite army fled, but Shammah held his ground in the middle of the field and beat back the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.”

Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in Christ Jesus.” 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”

In Psalm 16:11 we read, “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” The plans God has for us are plans for welfare and not evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We are to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean not on our own understanding. In all our ways we are to submit to Him and He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed. - 2 Chronicles 20:20
