Introduction:
Many Christians are frustrated, unhappy, dejected, harassed, unfulfilled, and have lost hope because they have prayed about a certain matter for a long time and it seems that there is no answer. It seems God does not want to listen. It seems God does not answer prayers anymore. They have been to many pastors, preachers, Bishops and Apostles and the situation is the same. Many have lost hope and given up and decided not to seek God any more.
But the bible says:

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Who changed?
There are 3 personalities in the process of asking and receiving. God, Devil and I
God has not changed: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
Satan has not changed: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy John 10:10
I am the only one changing and unstable.
Questions:
Is their a difference between Asking, Seeking and Knocking?
So why is it that we ask and we don’t receive Jas 4:3,
what are the prerequisites I need to fulfil before I can ask him anything? Ps 37:4

The Process
Document the issue and bring it before the Lord
Plan a prayer programme to ask God “What should I do concerning this matter” 1Chr 16:11
Search the word of God and pull out all the promises concerning the matter. Write out all the scriptures. Ps138:2
Set aside a 7-40day fasting period with midnight vigil Gen 32:26
Ask for forgiveness, Worship God Ps 100:4, Petition God by quoting the scripture back to him, Ask for his help Col 2:14-15
Attack the Devil with the word of God and praying in the spirit Jas 4:7
Worship Ps 95:6
Confess positive Prov 18:21
